Frosty 5K - Natick, MA
The Frosty 5K is a USATF certified road race held at 15 West Street in Natick, Massachusetts. This event is the fifth annual edition and is sponsored by the Natick High Track and Field and XC Boosters. It supports a program of more than 300 high school athletes who compete in Cross Country, Winter Indoor Track and Field, and Spring Outdoor Track and Field.
One hundred percent of the event proceeds are allocated to provide athletes with equipment to improve training, to fund end-of-year banquets, to cover need-based travel costs for postseason and national competitions, and to support additional training and educational opportunities for the coaching staff. The event also continues a partnership with SPARK Kindness; a portion of proceeds will be donated to that organization.
The first 200 registrants receive the annual Frosty 5K beanie hat. Race day activities include music, vendors, and multiple raffles. Prizes are awarded to the top overall male and female finishers and to top finishers in the following age groups: under 12, 12-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Registration pricing listed for younger participants includes a $20 fee for ages 10 to 18 and free entry for ages 9 and under, with the discount applied at checkout.
