Event details
The Frostbite Finale takes place on January 24, 2026, at Jamestown Beach, 2110 Jamestown Rd., Williamsburg, VA. Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Winter Series. A virtual race option is available. The event benefits the Jamestown Yorktown Foundation.

Parking is available at the Jamestown Beach lot. Live results will be posted on Athlinks and final results with series points will be posted to the organizer's website the Monday after the race. Photos taken by staff will be posted on the organizer’s Facebook page by the Tuesday after the event.
Course and logistics
The course runs along the Virginia Capital Trail, starting and ending near the Jamestown Settlement. The route is flat and paved; the 5k and 10k are out-and-back. Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed before January 14; extras will be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis.
Packet pickup is available at the event. Race day registration is offered, but t-shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for race day registrants. Water stations and Gatorade are provided - one water station on the 5k and three on the 10k at the listed mile markers. Portajohns will be onsite. Volunteers are asked to arrive about 60 minutes before the first race. The organizer operates as an all-weather company and will notify registrants if the race is cancelled.
