Event overview
The 2026 Frostbite 5K Prediction Run takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Munroe Falls Metro Park in Munroe Falls, Ohio. The event is a 5K time prediction run where awards go to the participants closest to their predicted finish time rather than strictly to the fastest finishers. Walkers are allowed, but awards are limited to predictions under 50 minutes.
Location, course and logistics
The race start and finish are at Munroe Falls Metro Park, 512 South River Road, Munroe Falls, OH 44262. The course requires completing two laps of the park road that circles the lake, then pulling off into the parking lot for the finish line. Early packet pick up is scheduled for the day before the race at Ritchies Sporting Goods, 137 South Avenue, Tallmadge, OH 44278; race day packet pick up is also provided.
No timing devices are permitted during the race, including watches, GPS units, heart monitors, headphones, headsets, or ear buds. Due to insurance restrictions, pets and strollers are not permitted on the race course. The event includes a winter wear giveaway of a custom Valentine Day warm crew sweatshirt and is conducted entirely outdoors; participants are advised to plan clothing and waiting arrangements accordingly.
