6th Annual Frog Level Music Festival 5K & Fun Run
The Frog Level Music Festival 5K is a community sports event held in Wedowee, Alabama. The race utilizes an official USATF Certified course that begins in the downtown area at the intersection of Highway 431 and 1st Avenue SE. This event occurs in conjunction with the broader festival celebrations held in the downtown district.
Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 0.5 Mile Fun Run for children aged 12 and under
The event includes several competitive categories based on age groups. Overall male and female winners, as well as top finishers in age brackets ranging from 12 and under to 70 and up, are eligible for prizes such as medals and concert tickets. Participants who register by May 8 are guaranteed their preferred shirt size.
Parking is available in the downtown area near the starting line. Following the running events, the downtown festival offers various activities including a car cruise in, wood chopping contests, bouncy houses, and music.
