Friendship Circle 5K and 1K Family Fun Run
Friendship Circle KC organizes a community running event and a Friendship Festival in Overland Park, Kansas on August 30, 2026. The event brings together a race component and a festival with activities such as inflatable attractions, face painting, live music, cotton candy, and other family-oriented features. The festival emphasizes inclusion and connection between people with and without disabilities.
Every registered participant in the 5K or 1K receives a custom Friendship Circle KC race-day t-shirt and a finisher medal. Friendship Circle of Kansas City is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is open to all, regardless of religion, race, or ethnicity.
