Friday Night Racing - Cambuslang
Friday Night Racing takes place on 13th November 2026 at Clyde Cycle Park in Cambuslang and is organised by Stride Athletics. Races use a measured 1 km loop and are run as timed, lapped heats; the course has been accurately measured by the Association of UK Course Measurers.
The event format includes multiple distance categories and time-graded heats intended to group athletes by ability and give opportunities to chase personal and season best times.
Entry fees are:
- 5k: £16 for SA or equivalent members, £19 for non-SA or equivalent members
- 3k: £8 for SA or equivalent members, £11 for non-SA or equivalent members
Entries cannot be deferred, refunded, or transferred. Start lists are produced after entries close and will be distributed to athletes one week before the event.
Age guidance for junior entries follows SA winter age group rules. Specified birth years for junior categories include 2016 and 2017 for Under 12, and 2014 and 2015 for Under 14. Spectating is free and family and friends are welcome to attend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
