Friday Night Cross Country Summer Series
The Friday Night Cross Country Summer Series is a sequence of four community cross-country races held at high school sites in the area. Three races have confirmed dates and locations: June 19, 2026 at Howard High School (8700 Old Annapolis Rd, Ellicott City, MD 21043); July 24, 2026 at River Hill High School (12101 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029); and August 7, 2026 at Reservoir High School (11550 Scaggsville Rd, Fulton, MD 20759). One additional race is planned but not yet confirmed.
Distances for the confirmed races include:

- 2 miles
Online pre-registration opens June 5, 2026 and closes on the day of each race. Online registration is free; a $5 cash race fee is collected on race day and participants receive their bib at the event. Participants who pre-register but do not attend are asked to cancel their registration.
The series offers an incentive for repeated participation: participants who complete three of the four races receive a shirt. Event information specifies venue addresses and the number of races in the series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
