Fresno Urban Run
The Fresno Urban Run is a city course held in Fresno on March 29, 2026. The route begins inside Chukchansi Park and covers approximately 3 miles with multiple vertical and street segments. The course includes climbing every stair from the bottom to the top of the stadium, running up a six-story parking garage, descending an adjacent six-story garage, a half-mile run down Fulton Street to the Tuolumne Overpass (Urban Hill), and a final climb of 220 stairs to the top of The Grand Tower where the timing sensor stops.
Teams are permitted and may represent groups such as firefighters, law enforcement, gyms or health clubs, or open teams. Teams can be any size; the top three finishers count toward team scoring while all participants also receive individual scores. The Fresno Urban Run is a 20 point race in the California Classic Runner of the Year Series.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the event at Fleet Feet Sports at Fort Washington and Friant Road. The event proceeds rain or shine. Donations collected in connection with the event support the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. After the final climb, participants descend by elevator to a Celebration Beer Garden near the finish area.
