Event information
The Fresno Urban Run takes place on Sunday, May 17, 2026, in Fresno, CA at Chukchansi Park (1800 Tulare St). The overall length is approximately 3 Miles. The event is open to ages 9 to 99. Entry fee shown is $54.75, which includes a $4.75 processing fee; the price increases after March 31, 2026. All donations support the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. The race is a 20-point event in the California Classic Runner of the Year Series.
Course, awards and logistics
The course begins inside Chukchansi Park, includes climbing every stadium step, a run up a 6-story circular parking garage and down an adjacent 6-story garage, then a half-mile run down Fulton Street to the Tuolumne Overpass (Urban Hill), and finishes with a climb of 220 stairs to the top of the 10-story Grand Tower where timing stops. Amenities listed include an urban shirt, a celebration beer garden, chip timing, bobble-head age-group awards, and team awards in each division. Prize details note $100 for overall male and female, $100 for the fastest male and female up the Grand Tower, and a Team Champion Cup for the overall team. Teams require at least three members and compete in Fire Fighter, Law Enforcement, Gyms/Health Clubs, or Open divisions. Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, May 16 at Fleet Feet Sports (Fort Washington and Friant Rd). The event takes place rain or shine.
