Fresno Urban Run
The Fresno Urban Run on 05/01/2027 is an urban obstacle course that begins inside Chukchansi Park in Fresno, California. The course includes climbing every step from the bottom to the top of the stadium, running up a six story circular parking garage, then down an adjacent six story garage. Runners follow a half mile run down Fulton Street to the Tuolumne Overpass, known on the course as Urban Hill, before the final challenge of climbing 220 stairs to the top of the 10 story Grand Tower where timing ends.
The overall length of the course is approximately 3 Miles. The event includes a separate Urban Run Firefighter Division that gives firefighters wearing turn out gear an extra half hour head start. All donations support the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation.
The Fresno Urban Run is a 20 point race in the California Classic Runner of the Year Series, and the course combines stadium steps, multi level garage climbs, a short street section, and a tall building stair ascent.
