Series, host perks and awards
This race is the first of a three-race Freezy Cheeks 5K Series. Each race is hosted by a local brewery; the First Frost event is hosted by Black Flannel Brewing Co., and registration for this race includes one limited beverage (alcohol available for 21+ and a non-alcohol option). The series offers a combined registration discount and a commemorative buff for those who register for all three races.
Series winners are determined by highest age-graded ranking in female, male, and non-binary categories across the series. Series winners receive either a pair of tickets to the 2026 Vermont Brewers Festival (21+, may be gifted) or a Skirack gift card if not 21+.
Logistics
