Freedom Run on the Ranch
Freedom Run on the Ranch is a community Fourth of July running event held in Ladera Ranch at 1 Daisy Street, CA 92694. The event includes multiple distance options run on local streets and around Founder's Park, with some courses sharing the original 5K route.
Distances:
- 1K Kids Firecracker loop around Founder's Park, finishes at the archway on Avendale and Daisy Street
- 5K original course on local roads with designated closures and markings
- 10K two laps of the 5K course
- Double 10K & 5K combined entry option
Registration opens July 10, 2026 and closes June 23, 2027. Registration fees range from $15 for the kids 1K to $60 for the combined 10K and 5K entry. Registration prices increase on June 22. Packet pickup is scheduled for July 3 with details to be determined.
The event notes that road closures will be in place and marked, and that participants run at their own risk. Organizers request that participants practice social distancing and be mindful of others. Proceeds from registration and sponsorship support local charities; the event has supported the Jessie Rees Foundation NEGU.
