Freedom Run - Dallas
Organized by the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, the Freedom Run unites and honors the heroes and victims of the September 11, 2001 events. The event is described as one of the longest running tributes to 9/11 in the world.
The 2026 edition marks the 25th anniversary and will take place at Trinity Groves in Dallas, Texas. The event date is November 14, 2026. Proceeds are designated to raise money for the Dallas Assist the Officer Foundation.
Event options include the following distances:
- 5K Run - 3.1 miles
- First Responder 5K - 3.1 miles
- 1 Mile Walk - 1 mile
- Ruckers 5K - 3.1 miles
Registration opens August 21, 2026 and closes September 30, 2026. Published registration fees are $44.99 for the standard 5K, $34.99 for the First Responder 5K, $29.99 for the one mile walk, and $44.99 for the Ruckers 5K. Discounted registration is available to first responders, including police officers, firefighters, and paramedics.
