Freedom Racing - North Downs Ridge 50k
This event is a fully signed trail ultra on the North Downs Way and through the Surrey Wildlife Trust reserve of ancient woodland at Norbury Park. The race follows a long-distance trail with additional race signage along the route.
The course distance is 50k and the total ascent for the event is 2986 ft. There are four checkpoints providing food and drinks. The event is based at Denbies Wine Estate, near Dorking.
Entries open on 21 April 2026 and close on 19 February 2027 at 16:00. The minimum age to enter is 18 and the entry fee is £75. All finishers receive a medal featuring the event logo. Organisers describe the route as suitable for runners new to ultra distances.
