Freedom Old Home Week 5K
The Freedom Old Home Week 5K is a certified 3.1 mile road race held as part of the town festival. The event includes a kids fun run and is open to runners and walkers of all ages. The course begins in front of Freedom Elementary School, turns left onto Village Road with a short rolling hill, then turns left onto Freedom Point Road where a dirt and gravel section weaves toward Round Pond Road. The final left turn onto Loon Lake Road returns participants to Freedom Elementary School for the finish. The course is USATF certified and timed by Granite State Race Services.
Online pre paid registration is available through July 31, 2026 and includes a Food Truck voucher valid for up to ten dollars. Race day registration also includes the same food truck voucher. Sponsor coupons issued by Freedom Old Home Week can be used for free entry at registration. Specific entry fees are to be determined.
Each registrant must accept a waiver that includes permission to be photographed. Participants younger than eighteen require a parent or guardian to co sign the waiver, and those aged fifteen and younger must have a parent or guardian present at the race.
Prizes are awarded to the top three men and the top three women. Past race results and photos are recorded for 2024 and 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
