Freedom Old Home Week 5K
The Freedom Old Home Week 5K is a community road race and kids fun run held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, with the course anchored at Freedom Elementary School, 40 Loon Lake Road. The certified 3.1 mile course is timed by Granite State Race Services and uses mostly paved country roads with a few short rolling hills.
The registered route begins in front of the elementary school, turns left onto Village Road, then left onto Freedom Point Road where a dirt and gravel section weaves toward Round Pond Road. The final turn is left onto Loon Lake Road, returning participants to the school for the finish. A course map is provided by the organizer.
Registration is available in advance and on race day. Prepaid online registration is discounted to $20 if completed by July 4; from July 5 through July 31 the online price is $25. Race day registration is $30. All registrants receive a food truck voucher worth up to $10 for use at the event food truck. Sponsors with free entry coupons may register using those coupons on race day.
A waiver is required for participation; those ages 15 and younger must have a parent or guardian present, and participants under 18 need a parent or guardian co-sign the waiver.
