Freedom Fundraiser Run/Walk 2026
Freedom Fundraiser 5K and Kids Dash takes place on July 3, 2026, at Wicked Warren's, 330 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA. The event raises funds for Caring for Life, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides financial, logistical, and emotional support to families with critically ill children, including housing near hospitals, travel assistance, and bill payment support.
The event program includes:
- 5K
- Kids Dash (ages 1 to 6)
Packet pick up, the 5K starting line, and the post-event gathering are at Wicked Warren's. Parking is listed at Midtown Parking on 2nd Avenue in Warren.
Registration categories include a 5K individual entry, Kids Dash entries with and without shirts, and a t-shirt purchase option. Shirts are not guaranteed after July 3. Active duty, reservist, and guard participants can receive a discount using the Serve26 code at checkout.
Awards are given by age group (1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). Trophies are awarded to the overall first-place female and male finishers. Medals are awarded for first through third in each age group, and finisher medals are guaranteed for the first 75 registered children.
Prohibited items include fireworks, smoke devices, explosive or flammable materials, loud noisemakers such as air horns, illegal drugs, and hazardous substances. Wicked Warren is listed as an event sponsor. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
