Freedom Fundraiser 5K and Kids Dash

Caring for Life is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides financial, logistical, and emotional support to families with critically ill children. Services listed include housing near hospitals, travel assistance, bill payment support, and organized family events. Since 2005 the organization has registered 67 families in Warren County, reimbursed over $342,247, and distributed 78 care packages to families whose child required emergency transport.
Packet pick up, the 5K starting line, and the post event party are located at Wicked Warren's. Parking is available at Midtown Parking on 2nd Avenue in Warren. Awards are given by age group with trophies for the overall male and female winners and medals for first through third in each age group; finishers medals are guaranteed for the first 75 registered children. Prohibited items include fireworks, smoke bombs, air horns and similar noise devices, illegal drugs, and hazardous substances. Registration options include individual 5K entries, kids dash entries with or without shirts, and a t shirt purchase only option. Shirts are not guaranteed after July 2.
