Participants meet at The Greene Turtle Bar & Grille before the race and return there for a post race celebration and awards ceremony. The Greene Turtle will provide food and beverages including cold beer, seltzers, and juice.
Proceeds support the Epilepsy Foundation of Delaware to fund essential support programs, increase awareness, and reduce stigma related to epilepsy. The organizer notes the foundation has provided free services, trainings, and educational and support programs throughout the state for 60 years.
Medals will be awarded to overall male and female finishers and overall male and female masters based on gun time. Age group medals for male and female runners will be awarded to the top three in each group based on chip time.
