Freedom Fighters 5k, 10k, & Half
The Freedom Fighters running event takes place in Triangle, Virginia, within the grounds of Prince William Forest Park. The event offers three primary distances for participants to choose from:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon
The courses are designed to showcase the natural scenery of the park. Participants in the 5k and 10k distances follow trails through the wooded terrain. Those participating in the half marathon navigate a route that combines paved roads with trail sections. The geography of the area includes various hills throughout the park.
Walkers are permitted to participate in the event. Additionally, virtual registration options are available for those who wish to complete their chosen distance remotely, with options for medals and shirts. The physical race is held at 18100 Park Entrance Road. Registration remains open until the day of the event, with pricing adjusted according to the registration date.
