The Freedom 5K Run for the Wreath Fun Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, July 4, 2026 in Gardnerville, Nevada. Location, fees and race details
The run starts and finishes at Heritage Park on the Ezell Street side (1447 Courthouse Alley, Gardnerville, NV 89410). Pre-registration fees listed are: runners 10 and under free; runners 11 and up $25; military and veterans $20; virtual race $20. Day-of registration is offered for certain categories and has a higher fee for at least the 11-and-up category.
Main Street Gardnerville has partnered with Wreaths Across America; $5 from every registration will go toward purchasing wreaths for the 225 military veterans laid to rest at Garden Cemetery. Participants receive running medals and trophies are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers. Dogs are permitted if leashed, vaccinated, non-aggressive and child/dog friendly; dogs are positioned at the back of the starting pack.
