Freedom 5K - Huntsville
The event takes place on 07/04/2026 at Big Spring Park in Huntsville, Alabama. It includes two separate timed races and a combined entry option held on the same day.

Registration opens 08/31/2025 and closes 05/04/2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $30.00 for the 5K, $20.00 for the timed 1 Mile, and $40.00 for the bundled entry that covers both events.
Finisher medals will be issued to the first 1000 registered runners based on bib assignment; participants who register for the bundle receive only one finisher medal. The number of additional RunningLane bibs that receive medals depends on how many assigned bibs are not picked up.
Apparel distribution is specified: the first 850 registrations for the 5K or the 5K plus 1 Mile bundle are guaranteed a Freedom 5K singlet. If those singlets run out, an additional 200 RunningLane singlets will be available for 5K or bundle registrants.
Both the 5K and the 1 Mile are USATF certified and sanctioned courses. Certification codes are AL23017JE for the 5K and AL23018JE for the 1 Mile. Both courses start and finish at Big Spring Park and pass through downtown Huntsville and Old Town.
