Freedom 5K - Andrews
The Freedom 5K is a community run/walk held in Andrews, North Carolina, on July 4, 2026. The event is based at 7 Wilson Street in Andrews and the course runs throughout the small mountain town.
The event distance is 5K. It is described as family friendly and welcomes racers, walkers, strollers, and a range of participants. Every runner receives a T-shirt, and snacks and drinks will be available for participants. Day of registration and packet pickup are offered on the day of the event.
Registration opens on May 21, 2026 and closes on July 3, 2026. The stated registration fee is $30.00.
Awards are given in four age brackets: under 18, 19 to 40, 40 to 60, and 60 and over, with separate men's and women's awards for each bracket. There is also an award for most patriotic.
