Fred Hughes 10 Mile

The Fred Hughes 10 Mile is a renowned local race organized by the St Albans Striders running club since 1985. Scheduled for January 19, 2025, the event takes place on the scenic rolling country lanes of Bedmond in St Albans. It serves as an excellent opportunity for runners to kickstart their spring marathon training or transition from 10k races.

This year, the race will also host the Hertfordshire Senior County Championships. Participants are encouraged to use public transport or carpool due to limited parking at the race headquarters, St Columba's College. The event is currently sold out.
