Event
The Freakin Freezin 5K takes place on Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Yukon, Oklahoma at the Route 66 Amphitheatre (9901 NW 23rd St., Yukon, OK 73099). The event includes the following options:
- 5K
- 5K - No Shirt
- Virtual 5K
- 5K - Help then Run (limited spots)
Finisher medals will be provided to all finishers. The course begins at the Route 66 Amphitheatre and is described by the organizer as close to flat. Water stations will be available approximately every 1.5 miles.
Registration, awards and logistics
Regular registration rates (through January 10) list the 5K and Virtual 5K at $35. Late registration (through January 17) lists the 5K at $37.50 and race day registration at $40 for the 5K. The 5K - Help then Run entry is listed at $15. Participants registered by January 8 are guaranteed a race shirt in their size; shirts are available while supplies last after that date.
Awards are listed for top finishers in multiple categories: Top 3 overall M/F, Top 3 masters M/F, Top 3 grand masters M/F, Top 3 senior grand masters M/F, and top three in five-year age groups from 10 & under through 75+. The Virtual 5K allows participants to run at their chosen location and submit a time through January 18, 2026 at 11:59 PM; virtual packages are scheduled to ship the Monday after the event (shipping to continental US only).
The race lists Breast Cancer Survivors Oklahoma as the charity partner. Volunteers who recruit three eligible volunteers and work the full event may qualify for a $50 Visa gift card under the organizer’s volunteer program. Packet pickup is available on race morning.
