The course uses the paved Grand Canal Linear Trail and Glendale Heroes Park near 8180 W Bethany Home Rd, Glendale, AZ 85303. The race will use chip timing for start and finish to provide net times. Water stations will be available at approximately every 1.5 miles. Packet pickup is held on race morning.
Registration, awards and extras
Regular registration prices list the 5K at about $35 and virtual races at $35, with higher fees for late and race-day registration. Virtual 5K registration closes January 24, 2026. Participants registered by late January are guaranteed race shirts in their size; shirts may be available while supplies last after that date. All finishers receive custom finisher medals and long sleeve race shirts (subject to the timing above).
Awards are given to top overall finishers and to age groups, including overall, masters, grand masters, senior grand masters, and five-year age groups from 10 and under through 75+. The organizer is seeking a charity partner and is accepting vendors. Volunteer incentives include a $50 Visa gift card program for volunteers who meet recruitment and attendance requirements.
