Event overview
The Freakin Freezin 5K - Chattanooga is set for Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Riverpoint Park, 3701 Amnicola Hwy, Chattanooga, TN 37406. The event uses the park's paved trail for the race course. Chip timing will record net times. Water stations will be available at about every 1.5 miles. Finisher medals are provided to all finishers.

Regular and late registration prices vary by date. Participants who register by January 28 are guaranteed race swag in their size; shirts are available while supplies last after that date. The virtual event allows participants to run at a location of their choice, submit a time by the end of race day, and receive a mailed virtual package the Monday after the event (shipping available to the continental US).
Awards, volunteers, and policies
Awards are given to the top three overall men and women, top three masters, grand masters, senior grand masters, and top three in five-year age groups from 10 & under through 75+. Volunteers who recruit three additional volunteers (age 15 or older) and meet specified conditions can receive a $50 Visa gift card after the event. Registrations are final: there are no refunds, transfers, or deferments. The event will take place rain or shine; extreme weather may cause cancellation.
