ASP's Franconia Notch Half Marathon
The event is the eighth annual half marathon held on the paved Franconia Notch recreational path. The course is an out and back route that runs alongside Echo Lake, the former Old Man viewing site, Cannon Mountain, Profile Lake, Boise Rock, Lafayette Campground, the Basin, the Flume, and the Pemigewasset River, offering views of the Notch throughout the route.
The race distance is 13.1 Miles. Packet pickup and registration are organized across the weekend with a packet pickup session at Cannon Mountain Peabody Lodge on the day before the race and additional registration and packet pickup on race day. Hosted facilities include Cannon Mountain and Peabody Lodge with the start located in the parking lot below Notch View Lodge.
Registration opens April 15, 2026. Early registration is $75 through July 31, 2026. Later fee periods are listed with higher rates, and day of registration is available at a higher fee. To receive an event t shirt, registration must be completed by September 30, 2026; unisex sizes offered range from XS to 3XL. Meal tickets are available for online purchase until October 12, 2026 and will also be sold on race day.
Every finisher receives a finisher medal. Awards are given to the top male and female overall finishers and to each age category; the top overall men and women receive $500. Proceeds benefit Adaptive Sports Partners, a local adaptive sports organization serving northern New Hampshire and Vermont. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
