About the race
Frackville Fright is a night running event on October 17, 2026, held at the Goodwill Fire Company located at 225 S Balliet St, Frackville, PA 17931. The event benefits the Hillside SPCA of Pottsville and will accept monetary and supply donations at the venue. The organizer refers to the Hillside SPCA Wish List for suggested items.
The course begins and ends at the Goodwill Fire Company and runs through the rolling streets of Frackville. The route includes gentle inclines, some steeper inclines, and a downhill finish. Participants are advised to bring flashlights and glow sticks for the nighttime setting. The event is open to all ages and abilities and permits walkers.
Awards and recognition will be given to the top three overall finishers and to the top two competitors in each age group. The listed entry fee for the running event is $30. Volunteer registration is available with no fee.
