Fox Firecracker 5K
The Fox Firecracker 5K in Kaukauna takes place on July 4, 2026 at 100 Crooks Ave, Kaukauna, WI 54130, United States. The event program includes a community 5K Run/Walk, a kids run for children eight years old and younger, and a virtual 5K option.

- 3.1 Miles 5K Run/Walk
- 0.25 Miles Kids run, untimed, for children eight years and younger
- Virtual 5K distance completed remotely
The 5K course runs through downtown Kaukauna and passes the Kaukauna Library and the Fox River. Every finisher receives a finisher medal and an American flag. The event features Fourth of July activities, including music by the UW-Madison Marching Band and apple pie.
Registration opens February 1, 2026. The in-person 5K and virtual 5K have a registration fee of $30.00; the kids run fee is $5.00. Registration for the 5K and virtual entries closes June 15, 2026; kids run registration remains open through race day. All registration will be online this year; on-site bib pickup is available and the pickup process is quicker if registration is completed beforehand.
Virtual participants can submit a finish time beginning July 4 through July 8, with final results posted July 9. Virtual participants are not eligible for awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
