Fox Firecracker 5K
The Fox Firecracker 5K takes place on July 4, 2026, in Kaukauna, WI. The event is based at 100 Crooks Ave, Kaukauna, WI 54130. The 5K course runs through downtown Kaukauna with views of the Kaukauna Library and the Fox River. The event includes a Fourth of July celebration with music by the UW-Madison Marching Band and apple pie.

Entry and logistics
Registration opens February 1, 2026. Listed entry fees are $30 for the 5K and the Virtual 5K (reduced from $35) and $5 for the Kids 1/4 mile. Family pricing is available. All registration is online this year; participants are asked to complete registration before arriving to pick up race bibs for a faster pickup process.
Every finisher receives a finisher medal and an American flag. The kids run is open to ages 1 to 8. Virtual participants may submit a time between July 4 and July 8; final results for virtual entries are posted July 9. Virtual participants are not eligible for awards.
