Fox Firecracker 5K
The Fox Firecracker 5K takes place on July 4, 2026 in Kaukauna, WI 54130. The 5K route runs through downtown Kaukauna and passes the Kaukauna Library and the Fox River. The event provides a finisher medal and an American flag to every finisher. The race day features a Fourth of July program that has included music by the UW-Madison Marching Band and apple pie. All race registration is handled online this year and participants are asked to complete registration before arriving to pick up bibs.

- 5K Run/Walk - regular price listed at $30 (strikethrough $35).
- Kids 1/4 mi run (Untimed) - price $5; open to ages 1 - 8.
- Virtual 5K - price $30 (strikethrough $35); virtual participants are not eligible for awards.
Family pricing is available. Registration opens February 1, 2026. Virtual participants can submit results between July 4 and July 8; final virtual results are published July 9.
The event also includes a myTEAM TRIUMPH program with two athlete roles: ANGEL (an able-bodied athlete who guides a CAPTAIN) and CAPTAIN (an athlete with a disability of any kind). myTEAM TRIUMPH athletes have a shared Photo Circle for race photos.
