Event
The Fox Heritage Run takes place on May 2, 2026, in Kaukauna, WI (175 Main Ave). The event offers multiple distances, including:
- 8K
- 1K Kids Run
- 0.5K Kids Run
- 8K - Virtual
The event is chip-timed. The top three overall male and female finishers receive awards. Finishers in the 8K and the Kids Runs receive a finisher medal. There will be two water stations on the course and medical support at the start and finish. The organizers plan to provide event swag.
Course and logistics
The 8K course starts in downtown Kaukauna, follows the Fox River, and crosses the Nelson Family Heritage Crossing into Little Chute. Runners and walkers pass part of the Heesakker Park trails, run several road miles in Little Chute and Kaukauna, and return to downtown Kaukauna. The total distance is 8K with an elevation gain of 103 feet.
Packet pickup is at the Kaukauna Municipal Services Building parking lot (tent behind Pizza Hut). Pickup times are Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and Saturday from 6:00 to 7:30 am. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
