Fox Heritage Run
The Fox Heritage Run is a community running and walking event in Kaukauna, Wisconsin on 05/01/2027. The main distance is an 8K route that follows the Fox River and crosses the Nelson Family Heritage Crossing into Little Chute before returning to downtown Kaukauna. The course includes trail sections in Heesakker Park, several road miles in Little Chute and Kaukauna, and has an elevation gain of 103 feet.
Event distances include:
- 8K (4.97 miles)
- 8K virtual option
- 1K Kids Run (0.62 miles)
- 0.5K Kids Run (0.31 miles)
The event is chip-timed. There will be two water stations along the course and medical support at the start and finish areas. The top three overall male and female finishers will receive awards. Finisher medals are provided for the 8K and the Kids Runs. Packet pickup takes place at the Kaukauna Municipal Services Building parking lot, at the tent behind Pizza Hut; pickup is available Friday from 4 to 7 pm and Saturday from 6 to 7:30 am.
Registration opens 11/01/2026. Registration fees listed by the organizer include $40 for the 8K and $8 for each Kids Run. Organizers note that families are welcome. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
