Four on the Fourth - Chapel Hill
Four on the Fourth is a 4-mile road race held on July 4, 2026 at McDougle Middle School, 900 Old Fayetteville Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. It is the first race in the Le Tour de Carrboro three-race series.
The 2026 series includes scoring for competitors who finish all three races. Athletes who complete every race become eligible for special Le Tour de Carrboro swag and prize awards determined by combined overall and age group standings. Event prizes for the series are provided by Fleet Feet.
Registration for the event opens March 31, 2026 and closes July 2, 2026. Entry options listed by the organizer include an individual race fee of $35 and a three-race series fee of $95. The event uses certified courses and professional timing. Awards include handmade pottery and age group prizes in five-year increments up to age 80.
The Le Tour de Carrboro series continues with the Carrboro 5K/10K on October 3 and the Gallop & Gorge 8K on November 26.
