Foundations 4 Hope 5K : Trussville
The event takes place on October 31, 2026 at the Trussville Entertainment District, 101 Beech Street, Trussville, AL 35173. It is a chipped-time run or walk covering a 5K distance and includes a separate relay division.

The Jerry Can 5K Relay is a three person relay with separate men's and women's divisions. Foundations 4 Hope provides the Jerry can filled with water: 5 gallons (42 lb) for men's teams and 3 gallons (25 lb) for women's teams. Each team registers as a single entry but must form its own three person team. Time is recorded until the last team member crosses the finish line. The Jerry can may be carried in any position but no straps or other attachments are permitted. All age athletes are welcomed.
Registration fee is $35.00 per entry. The event supports efforts described as advancing the gospel by empowering the local church, investing in individuals, providing critical resources, and equipping Christian leaders. This year the 5K will support church and community work in East Africa, including provision of Christian leaders, churches, clean water, and medicine.
