Reach, Rally, & Run - April 18, 2026
Reach, Rally, & Run, formerly Fostering Footsteps, is the ninth edition of a fundraising running event organized by Fit & Able to support the Wake Tech Foundation. The event takes place at the North Scott Wake Tech campus in Raleigh, NC (6600 Louisburg Rd.).
The event offers in-person and virtual race options and a range of event types:
- 10K
- 5K
- Fun Mile
- Kids in Strollers (ages 4 and under)
- Virtual 10K
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual Fun Mile
- Exhibitor
Registration for the 5K, 10K, and Fun Mile includes a Reach, Rally, & Run finishers medal and a gift, guaranteed for registrations completed by April 5. The 10K includes a 5K split. The event lists course records for recent years, including a 5K male time of 19:46 (2025) and a 10K male time of 43:56 (2025).
Prize opportunities include over $4,000 in potential awards for overall and age-group places, and special awards such as picking up the pace and new course records. The event integrates the RaceJoy mobile app for live GPS tracking, progress alerts, and remote spectator features; participants must carry a phone and enable tracking to use those features.
