The 38th Annual Fort to Fort Runs
The Fort to Fort Runs take place in Rome, New York, with the live races held at Copper City Brewing Company, 1111 Oneida St., on April 12, 2026. The event offers multiple race options and a kids run the day before.
Distances and event types:
- 10K
- 5K
- Virtual 5K or 10K run anywhere and submit a time
- Kids Run 500 meters and 1,000 meters
Chip timing is provided by Leone Timing. Registration is online only; no cash or paper registrations are accepted. Packet pickup is available at Copper City Brewing Company on Friday April 10 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday April 11 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and on race morning.
Awards are given by male and female age groups for the 5K and 10K, with specified age divisions. There are masters awards and a running club competition. The event serves as a race in the CNY Runners Club Cup and is part of the 2026 Route 20 Road Challenge Series.
The first 400 registered participants will receive a Fort to Fort running T-shirt; this does not include the kids run unless a shirt is purchased. The kids run is free but requires separate registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
