The 38th Annual Fort to Fort Runs
The 38th Annual Fort to Fort Runs is a multi-event running weekend held in Rome, New York. The 2026 edition takes place at the Copper City Brewing Company, which serves as the central hub for the start, finish, and packet pickup. Participants can choose from several event options:
- 10K
- 5K
- Virtual 5K or 10K
- Kids Run (500m or 1,000m)
Registration is conducted exclusively online, as no cash or paper entries are accepted. All live races feature chip timing provided by Leone Timing. The event is a member of the 2026 Route 20 Road Challenge Series and serves as the first race in the CNY Runners Club Cup.
Awards are presented for both the 5K and 10K distances across multiple age categories for male and female participants, ranging from youth divisions to 70 plus. Additionally, the event features Masters awards and a Running Club Competition. The first 400 registrants for the main events receive a running t-shirt. The youth events include distances of 500 meters (0.31 miles) and 1,000 meters (0.62 miles) and are held the day prior to the main distance races.
