Fort Gordon 10M - Army 10-Miler
Fort Gordon 10M is a ten mile run held at Fort Gordon with separate competitive and noncompetitive options. The event uses a new course for 2026. The competitive divisions are chip timed and eligible for awards; a noncompetitive open division is untimed and not eligible for awards.
Competitive entry categories include an adult division for ages 18 and over and a youth timed option for ages 17 and under. Competitive adult entry carries a fee of $10. Noncompetitive participants and children 17 and under may register without a fee. Participants ages 17 and under may choose to be timed without a fee. Shirts are available for purchase during registration for $10 to $11 each.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in each age category for both men and women. Selections will be made for the Fort Gordon Army Ten-Miler Team from active-duty service members who will be stationed on Fort Gordon through October.
The event supports the Fort Gordon Strong B.A.N.D.S program, which stands for Balance Activity Nutrition Determination Strength. Participants receive Strong B.A.N.D.S wristbands as a symbol of the program.
The race site is Barton Field near Rice Road. All runs are open to the general public. Visitors without a Department of Defense ID must register for base admittance at least 24 hours prior and select the visitor's pass option. All running organizations must pre-register.
