The Fort Gordon 10M - Army 10-Miler is a ten-mile race held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Fort Gordon, GA. The 2026 event uses a new course. The event is used to select the male and female Fort Gordon representatives for the Army Ten-Miler in Washington, D.C.

Races and entry

The event offers entries for a 10-mile competitive category and an open un-timed category. Categories and entry details include:

  • Adult competitive run, open to ages 18–99 (entry fee listed as $10).
  • Youth option for ages 17 and under (free; timing and award eligibility depend on the registration option).
  • Open un-timed option (free; non-competitive).

Shirts are available for purchase during registration for about $10–$11 each.

Awards, eligibility and support

Awards are planned for the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in age categories for both sexes. Selections for the Fort Gordon Army Ten-Miler team are limited to active-duty service members who will be stationed at Fort Gordon through October. The event supports the Fort Gordon Strong B.A.N.D.S program and participants will receive Strong B.A.N.D.S. wristbands.

Logistics

Packet pick-up is available on the morning of the event. The race site is Barton Field near Rice Road. All runs are open to the general public; visitors without a DoD ID must obtain base admittance as a visitor at least 24 hours before the event.
