The Forgotten Warrior Memorial 5k takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Channahon, Illinois at Channahon State Park (25302 W Story St). The event is a 5K Run/Walk/Ruck and is dog friendly. Logistics and race features

Packet pick ups will be offered prior to race day at the K9s for Veterans retail store (631 E Boughton Rd, Suite 155, Bolingbrook, IL). There will be signs along the route, food trucks, a 50/50 drawing, and vendors/sponsors on site. Shirts include a space to write the name of the person being honored. Organizers suggest carpooling.
