Event overview
The Forgotten Warrior Memorial 5k is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Channahon, Illinois. The event is a 5K Run/Walk/Ruck held at the Forgotten Warrior Memorial inside Channahon State Park, with the route heading south along the I&M Canal. Logistics and race features

Course signage will be provided along the route. On-site offerings include veterans resources, vendors and sponsors, food trucks, a 50/50 drawing, and a shirt with a place to write the name of the person being honored.
