Forget Me Not 5K Race 2026
The Forget Me Not 5K Race is an annual event in Farragut, Tennessee, now in its 16th year. This community run serves as a fundraiser to support Alzheimer's disease awareness and research, specifically benefiting The Pat Summitt Clinic at The University of Tennessee Medical Center. The event honors the legacy of Pat Summitt and her determination in the fight against the disease.
Participants can choose from multiple event formats:
- 5K run
- 10K run
- 1 Mile race
- Virtual run
The 5K course is a mostly flat route that loops through the Village Green subdivision in Farragut. All registered participants receive an official race t-shirt, with sizes guaranteed for those who register by early April. The registration fee depends on the timing of entry, with rates increasing closer to the event date.
Event logistics include a packet pick-up scheduled for the Friday before the race at Little Joe's Pizza on Kingston Pike. Packets contain the race shirt, coupons, and various giveaways. For those participating in person, prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in the 5K race, while all participants in the 1 Mile Fun Run receive a commemorative award. A virtual participation option is also available for those who cannot attend in person, with shirts mailed to participants after the event.
