Forged Fitness Race is a single‑day fitness event that combines running segments with a sequence of full body strength and conditioning stations performed in a circuit format. The program includes running, indoor rowing, burpees, weighted lunges, windshield wipers, farmer's carry, wall ball throws, barbell inverted rows, and Airdyne/Echo bike efforts. Each event arranges those elements in a defined order to form a complete workout.
Distances and event formats:
- Workout Standard: 3 Miles
- Adaptive Standard: 1.5 Miles
- Sprint Standard: 1.5 Miles
- No Run: no running; equipment circuit only
Sample station details include 1000 m row for men and 800 m row for women, burpee sets of 50 reps, lunges with dumbbells, 200 m or 100 m farmer's carry depending on format, 50 wall balls to specified target heights, and bike segments ranging from 1.0 to 2.0 miles depending on division. The adaptive division includes run or walk segments, a 750 m row, modified movements such as step ups on 16 and 20 inch boxes for lower limb impairment, and reduced range of motion options. Division weights generally differ by sex, with men using heavier dumbbells and kettlebells and women using lighter alternatives.
