FORGE : event overview
FORGE is a 12-hour backyard ultra held June 6, 2026 in Anacortes, WA (12885 Casino Dr; trails and dirt roads south of Swinomish Casino, Skagit County). The format requires runners to complete a 4.167-mile loop every hour for up to 12 hours. Completing all 12 loops equals 50 miles. Runners must finish each loop before the next hourly start to remain in the event. Winners are recognized in male and female categories for fastest total time and for the final loop winner.
Course, logistics and included items
The course is a loop with a small out-and-back section in the middle. Surfaces are very flat dirt roads, with one section that is softer and sandy. The route has no shade. The event lists the following items for participants: FORGE running hat, FORGE hoodie, custom finisher medal, day-of-race food and snacks, and Tailwind Nutrition Endurance Fuel.
