Forever Home Run
Forever Home Run is a three-day event held October 3–5, 2026 in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The in-person portion takes place at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church on October 3. A virtual 5K may be completed anytime during the October 3–5 window.
The event began in 2015 as a partnership between Legacy Adoption Services and Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church to raise awareness and funds for foster children waiting for permanent families. The 2026 event is the twelfth annual Forever Home Run. In 2024 Legacy Adoption Services facilitated 196 adoptions.
Race features and participant services include a USATF certified 5K with professional microchip timing provided by Eastside Racing Company, medals for all finishers, prizes for overall winners and for top runners in each category, children’s activities, and community vendors. Race fees include a t-shirt; t-shirts are only guaranteed for registrations completed by September 7.
