Forever "15" 5K & Fun Run/Walk
Forever "15" is a community event held in Fort Worth on October 24, 2026 at Woodshed Smokehouse, 3201 Riverfront Dr. The event honors the life of a young person and focuses on suicide awareness, prevention, and mental health advocacy, hosted by the honoree's parents.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile fun run/walk
Registration fees are tiered: $30 for registrations by September 1, $35 by October 1, and $40 for registrations after October 1 through race day. Participants registered by October 15, 2026 are guaranteed an event shirt; remaining shirts are distributed after the start on a first-come, first-served basis.
Packet pickup is available early at The Runner Shop, 3535 W. Pioneer Pkwy, Pantego, TX, with a race day packet pickup location at the race site. A virtual race app option is available to track and upload verified times.
Event features include a custom finisher medal for all participants, a soft event t-shirt, free parking, complimentary soft drinks and refreshments, professional chip timing, and awards presented three deep in each age group as well as overall and masters divisions.
