Forest Park 5K & Kids Dash
The Forest Park 5K & Kids Dash is the only 5K held inside Forest Park that directly supports Forest Park Forever. The in-person event takes place at the Cricket Field and the route passes park landmarks such as Emerson Grand Basin, Art Hill, World’s Fair Pavilion and Pagoda Circle. A virtual 5K option is available for participants who prefer to complete the distance on their own time; virtual participants can still receive an event T-shirt.

Packet pickup is located in the Voyager Room at the Dennis & Judith Jones Visitor and Education Center. Packet pickup hours are Friday, August 14 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday, August 15 from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m.
Fees listed for the event are $40 for the 5K, $25 for the virtual 5K and $15 for the Kids Dash. Forest Park Forever members receive a 20% discount using a code printed on the event postcard or in the Forest Park Perks Coupon Book.
Parking and access notes: ADA parking is available. Enter at Cricket Drive and Lindell Boulevard and follow posted signs to the east and west lots across from the Visitor and Education Center. Bike racks are available at the Visitor and Education Center along the paved Dual Recreational Path. The Forest Park–DeBaliviere MetroLink station is about five minutes away on foot and the Hampton 90 bus stops nearby at the Missouri History Museum.
