Forest Park 5K, Kids Dash and Virtual 5K
Forest Park Forever, in partnership with Big River Running, is hosting the annual Forest Park 5K and Kids Dash on August 16, 2026, in Forest Park, Saint Louis. The event takes place near the Dennis & Judith Jones Visitor and Education Center and the listed venue address is 5595 Grand Drive, Saint Louis, MO 63110.
The program includes in-person and virtual options. The in-person 5K Run/Walk has a registration fee of $40. The Kids Dash is described as roughly a quarter mile and carries a $15 registration fee. The Virtual 5K option has a $25 registration fee and allows registered participants to complete the distance between August 16 and August 23; virtual registrants will receive the event shirt by mail or distribution.
All participants in the listed events receive limited-edition 2026 event T-shirts; the 5K in-person shirt is identified as the Forest Park 5K design while other entries receive an I Love Forest Park design. Registration opens April 11, 2026 and registration closes August 16, 2026 for the in-person events and August 17, 2026 for the virtual option. In-person 5K results will be posted online.
