Forest Park 5K and Kids Dash
The Forest Park 5K and Kids Dash is an annual running event held in Saint Louis, Missouri. Organizers host this event to support the restoration and maintenance of Forest Park. All participants in the different race categories receive a 2026 limited edition shirt featuring themed artwork.
The event offers several participation options:
- 5K Run: A standard road race held within the park grounds.
- Kids Dash: A non-timed run for children covering approximately a quarter-mile.
- Virtual 5K Run: A flexible option to complete the distance at any location.
The virtual race allows participants to complete their chosen distance at any time between August 16 and August 23. This version is designed for those who prefer to run on their own schedule or at a different location while still contributing to the park's mission. For the in-person 5K, timing services are provided to track runner results.
The event is situated at 5595 Grand Drive and serves as a gathering for the local community to remain active and connected.
