Event Overview
The Forest Grove Lions Club Run & Walk for Sight and Hearing is an annual community event focused on supporting local vision and hearing initiatives. Organized by the Forest Grove Lions Club, the event partners with the Pacific University College of Optometry and School of Audiology. All proceeds from the race are used to fund scholarships, provide equipment, and support the Pacific University AMIGOS program, which assists individuals in need within the Forest Grove area and beyond.
Course Distances
Participants can choose between two primary athletic events held in Forest Grove, Oregon:
- 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
- 10K Run (6.2 miles)
Participant Information
Registered participants receive a long-sleeve t-shirt and a personalized bib, provided registration is completed by the specific cut-off date. Electronic payment is required for registration, as the organizers do not accept cash or checks.
Packet and Bib Collection
Race packets, including t-shirts and other official items, are available for pickup on the Friday preceding the event at Pacific Avenue in front of the College of Optometry. On the morning of the event, bib pickup is relocated to the intersection of 21st and Cedar. For those unable to attend in person, a mailing option for race packets is available for a supplemental fee if requested during the registration process.
