About the race
Fore the Fun 5K Run is an inaugural sunset, fall- and Halloween-themed 5K held at Queenstown Harbor Golf Resort on October 25, 2026. The course uses the resort’s cart paths and private roadway and is open to runners and walkers from the public, with a field cap of 250 participants. The event is staged to finish around dusk and includes family-friendly activities at the Pavilion. The event features a costume contest with multiple prize categories, podium and age-group awards, and medals for all finishers.
Top finisher awards include overall male and female and overall masters categories; additional age-group awards are offered for both men’s and women’s divisions across the standard age brackets. Timing is provided by R2R Timing Systems using the MYLAPS BibTag system; top finishers are scored by gun time and other age groups by chip (net) time. Amenities for participants include an official race t-shirt, a finisher medal, lively music, light post-race snacks, a kids’ "Trunk-or-Tee" activity, and food and beverages available for purchase at the Tavern. A portion of event proceeds will be donated to the Jacob Sloan Foundation, and participants may add an optional donation to the foundation during registration.
Registrations are limited to the published cap, and registrants who secure entries by October 13 are guaranteed a race t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
