Fore the Fun 5K Run : Queenstown Harbor Golf Resort
Queenstown Harbor Golf Resort will host the inaugural Fore the Fun 5K Run on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The event is a fall and Halloween themed sunset walk/run held on a 5K (3.1-mile) course that follows the resort’s cart paths and a private roadway. The race is limited to up to 250 runners and walkers and is timed so the race and finish-line festivities occur around dusk.
The event is open to the public and intended as a community gathering that draws participants from the Eastern Shore of Maryland and neighboring areas. The program includes a costume contest, medals for all finishers, podium and age-group awards, and a post-race celebration at the Pavilion. The post-race area will feature a kids’ trunk-or-treat activity called "Trunk or Tee" and food and drinks available for purchase at the Tavern.
Fore the Fun names the Jacob Sloan Foundation as its inaugural charitable partner. The foundation is a Queen Anne’s County based nonprofit established in memory of Jake Sloan, operated by volunteers, and is a component fund of Chesapeake Charities, Inc. Its mission supports children and families in need, the arts, athletics, and underprivileged communities in the local area.
