For The Wild 5K/10K+
This event takes place at Newbold Recreation Area, 6954 Ole Lake Road, Rhinelander, WI. All proceeds will go to Wild Instincts, Inc., a non-profit wildlife rehabilitation center based in Rhinelander that serves wildlife across the state. Parking and the start and finish are at the Newbold Recreation Area.

- 5K Run, walk, or bike
- 10K+ (10.9K / 6.8 miles) Run, walk, or bike
The route begins and ends at Newbold Recreation Area, follows Ole Lake Road, continues onto Lake Mildred Road, uses the bike path, and returns to the recreation area. The 5K is an out-and-back with a turnaround at approximately 2.5K. The 10K+ route covers 10.9K (6.8 miles).
Participants may walk, run, or bike; strollers are permitted and dogs are not allowed. Children ages 12 and under are free but should be registered for liability waiver purposes. Entry fees are nonrefundable and listed as $30 for the 10K and $25 for the 5K, plus a $3 service fee. A virtual option is available; virtual participants will receive a mailed shirt. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by Sept. 12. The event is non-timed. Prizes are awarded to the top two finishers in these categories: 5K run, 10K+ run, and 10K+ bike.
