About the race

The W.I.L.D. Hodag Mini-Triathlon is held at Holiday Acres Resort in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, in August 2027. The event takes place in the woods and waters of the Northwoods and offers a short-course multisport format.

The race course distances are:

300 yard swim or 1/2 mile kayak
10K bike (off road)
5K run

Registration for 2027 is offered with tiered pricing. Early bird pricing through June 30 is $70 for individuals and $125 for relay teams. Regular pricing from July 1 to August 13 is $85 for individuals and $160 for relay teams. On-site registration after August 13 is listed at $100 for individuals and $300 for relay teams.

All proceeds benefit W.I.L.D. (Wise Intentional Leadership Development) to further youth leadership skills internationally and locally.
