Tomahawk Pow Wow Days 5K, 10K and 1 Mile Fun Run
Tomahawk Pow Wow Days takes place on July 4, 2027 at Veterans Memorial Park on the Wisconsin River in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. The event is the 50th annual running of these races and is held in conjunction with the local Lion's Day festivities.

The 10K follows a scenic route along the river toward a turnaround atop Kings Hill, just past historic Kings Dam. The 5K is a looped, basically flat course that follows the 10K for about 2400 meters before cutting across School District of Tomahawk property to School Road, then Somo Avenue, returning to Memorial Park via 6th Street. The 1 mile Fun Run is a looped course for all ages; awards for the Fun Run are limited to participants 12 and under.
Awards and on-course provisions include finishers medals for the top one-hundred 10K finishers, overall trophies for first and second place in the 5K and 10K, age-group medals for the 5K and 1 mile, and a Most Patriotic costume contest with 1st through 3rd place prizes for the 5K and 10K. Donated prize drawings may be handed out in the finishing chute. There will not be a formal awards ceremony; awards are distributed under the park gazebo or in the finish chute and will be verified using live results and bib number.
