Event overview
The Dirty Half is a trail half marathon held in Bend, Oregon. The 2026 race is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Unitarian Church, 61980 Skyline Ranch Rd, Bend, Oregon 97701. The course distance is 13.1 miles. The route begins with about a half mile on pavement before moving to dirt and single-track trails. The event takes place on National Forest land with acknowledgment to the U.S. Forest Service.
Logistics and policies
Packet pickup is offered in the days before the race at FootZone in downtown Bend, and day-of packet pickup is available. Registration for 2026 opens soon. Every finisher receives a finisher prize. Top three finishers in each division (Men’s Overall, Women’s Overall, Men’s Masters, Women’s Masters) receive special prizes, and additional prizes are distributed by raffle. The organizers note that refunds are not provided; in extreme conditions the race may be modified or canceled at the directors’ discretion, and refunds will not be offered. Volunteers are requested for race day. A technical short-sleeve race T-shirt is available for purchase, with proceeds from shirt sales directed to the Deschutes Land Trust.
