About the race
Footprints for Fatima is an annual fundraising 5K held on the John Carroll University campus and in the surrounding neighborhood in University Heights, Ohio. The event supports the Fatima Family Center and the Fatima Food Drive, with proceeds directed toward a holiday food drive and efforts to raise awareness about food insecurity in Cleveland's Hough neighborhood. The race course begins and finishes at the St. Ignatius Hall Clock Tower on Admin Drive and follows a route through the surrounding neighborhood.
The event is organized by the Arrupe Social Justice Scholars Program at John Carroll University and is presented as a community fundraiser tied to the university. Registration categories and fees announced for the event include general registration, a reduced college student rate, and a family rate. A limited number of JCUFit employee registrations and registrations for Fatima Family Center members are offered without fee through codes provided by the respective organizations; eligibility rules apply and codes are distributed by those organizations. Check in and race logistics are managed on campus at the stated start location and along the neighborhood route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
