Event Details
The Foot Pursuit 5K and Fun Run takes place in Dahlonega, Georgia. The event is organized by the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office and Team Give Back. This is the third year of the event. Proceeds support youth programs run by the sheriff's office.
Two events are offered:
- 5K
- Fun Run
The start and finish line for both events is at the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office at 385 East Main Street.
Participant Information
Awards are given to the overall male and female finishers, and to the top three male and female participants in each age division. Age divisions range from 12 and under to 80 and up.
Parking is available at Court House Hill and the Greenbriar Shopping Center (specifically the Harbor Freight parking area). A water station and snacks are provided along the course.
For participants who register before Friday, April 17, 2026, an event shirt is included. Packet pickup is scheduled for the morning of the event at the sheriff's office. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
