About the race
The FOOBS Trail and Fun Runs take place on Sunday 11th October at Old Basing and Lychpit Recreation Ground, on the outskirts of Old Basing. The event comprises trail running over local countryside and includes separate routes for different abilities and ages.
Distances offered:
- 10K chip timed trail run
- 6K chip timed trail run
- 2K fun run for families and younger runners
The event is supported by the local community, the parish council, and local running clubs. Course maps are available for the 10K and 6K routes and race terms and conditions are published. The event includes post-run refreshments and is described as having a welcoming atmosphere and organised arrangements.
