The Folsom Lake Point to Point Trail Half Marathon is a point-to-point trail race in El Dorado Hills, CA. The event distance is a Half Marathon. The course runs primarily on the Southside Trail alongside Folsom Lake and includes views of the lake, surrounding foothills, oak trees, grassy areas, and the Sierra Mountains.
Course and logistics
The route is 95% single track and 5% dirt road with some technical sections and gentle rolling hills. The start line is at Salmon Falls Parking Lot in El Dorado Hills. The finish line is at Brown’s Ravine Boat Launch / Hobie Cove in El Dorado Hills. A 4.5-hour time limit applies to the event. Bib pick-up and race-day registration occur at the start location on race day. Race staff provide shuttle transport from the finish back to Salmon Falls, and participants may also be picked up at the finish by friends or family.
