The Folsom Lake Sweetwater Trail Run is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Salmon Falls Parking Lot in Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, El Dorado Hills, California. Course and logistics
The course is mostly single-track (about 95%) with some dirt road (about 5%). Routes are primarily out-and-back and are marked with ribbons, signs, and gypsum. Terrain includes gently rolling hills, oak tree cover, grassy sections, and some technical trail parts. Toilets are available at the start/finish and at aid stations on course. Aid stations and water stops are provided on all longer routes; drop bags may be delivered to specified aid stations. An alternate course that avoids the creek crossing may be used in inclement weather. Parking requires a vehicle fee with self-registration; overflow and alternate parking areas are noted.
